AOF2 is a chance-inspired cut-and-paste reworking of Bach's Art of Fugue. A MIDI score was chopped into bits, rearranged, and executed while being processed with a number of aleatoric processes. The intention was to create a radical reinterpretation that still sounded like Bach and maintained the sense of ensemble.
